OPEN AMERICAS

After two years of online events and meetings, it is time to meet again in person to analyze the path of openness traveled and propose courses of action to strengthen our democracies. 

For this reason, Abrelatam-ConDatos and the Open Government Partnership Regional Meeting will be combined into a single event and comprehensive space: Open Americas, from September 26 to 29 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. 

This event of diverse communities will allow us to connect actors to work together for a more open, democratic and sustainable region. Particularly, on transcendental issues such as transparency, integrity, prevention and fight against corruption, protection of rights and freedoms, democratic governance, data and technology for the common good, inclusion of vulnerable groups, citizen participation and collaboration, protection of the environment and sustainable development.
